Skylger cheese is special cheese. This cheese originated in West-Terschelling. Skylger cheese is made here in a new cheese factory by Jan-Willem Zeilstra. The arrival of this new cheese factory is a result of Royal FrieslandCampina's new strategy to focus on the production of special cheese with an authentic story. And that is Skylger cheese. The milk for Skylger cheese is supplied by dairy farmers from the island. Based on a unique recipe, the special Skylger cheese is made from this.
