Old North Holland Gouda cheese with the Red Seal is a special old cheese from North Holland. The cheese has a distinct and complex character. Thanks to small ripening crystals, the cheese also has an extra taste experience. This is why the North Holland Gouda Old has been awarded the Superior Taste Award with the highest score.
Old North Holland Gouda cheese is made from 100% pure North Holland meadow milk. The cheese masters in Lutjewinkel have been making this special cheese since the sixteenth century. North Holland Gouda is therefore a real specialty. North Holland Gouda Old has matured for at least 10 months, resulting in small ripening crystals in the cheese. These ripening crystals add an extra taste experience.
