The Friesblond Matured cheese has naturally ripened for at least 26 weeks. It’s slightly spicy, but still creamy, and a very popular pick in the Netherlands. This aged cheese is easy to use in many different ways. As a topping on your sandwich, in cubes on a cheese platter, or melted on toast or oven dishes, although it doesn’t melt as well as the semi matured and young version.

Ingredients:
Fat 30+, pasteurized cow's milk, rennet, salt, starter culture, vitamins A, B and D

Friesblond Matured cheese is made of milk from cows that mostly graze outside. Their access to fresh grass, clovers and all kinds or wildflowers results in a very fresh and natural tasting milk, and eventually in a 100% natural cheese. What makes this cheese special is that there are absolutely no artificial additives or coloring agents added while producing it. Besides that, they are 99,9% lactose free, which makes them suitable for the entire family.

By choosing Friesblond Matured cheese you can enjoy the best that nature has to offer. It only contains milk, a starter culture and rennet, and has a very light color, since no colorings were added. Once produced, it’s naturally ripened on a wooden shelf in the cheese factory, until it reaches the right consistency and flavor.
